I've heard some people say that it is strange for men to use blow dryers. They say that blow dryers are for women.

I wouldn't think it would be that strange. A lot of people shower a little before they head out for the day, and I don't typically see men (or women) out and about with wet hair, so I would assume they probably blow-dry. Granted it's entirely possible that short hair dries faster than I think it does so blow-drying might be unnecessary for men with short hair.

Don't worry about what people say. Use whatever you want to dry your hair.

I hear it for the first time in my life.
My husband always blow-dries and I do it only occasionally (sensory problems with noise and heat).

That was kinda the norm back in the Seventies when blow dryers first became a thing, and hairstyles were longer in men. College aged guys commonly used blow dryers on their hair. And you can always claim that you have one for drying paint.

No. But some might consider it strange that I do it while wearing a tutu and singing I feel pretty, oh so pretty...

As a result of not being able to visit the barber at the moment my hair is much longer than I would usually have it. I wash it every morning before leaving the house but just leave it to dry normally.

I dislike hairdryers. The noise mainly.

Suspect that a lot of men use them though. Which is OK, its just a tool for a job so I dont find it strange.

I use one. Mostly to avoid going out with a wet head.

Those people are wrong. Blow dryers are for people who need their hair dry in a hurry.

Or adult man-children who are too impatient for the spray paint on their toy cars to dry.

There's no point in asking, you'll get no reply. ^
