Do birds pee?

I was once in the car with someone a drop of rain came down and they said that they thought a bird just peed on the windshield.

Do birds pee? I don't think they do.

I dunno but they certainly seem to sh*t a hell of a lot more than they used to do.

I'm wondering if they've changed their diet or something.

Bird sh*t has officially become the new dog sh*t round our way.

Not to get too gross, but in mammals, urine and excrement are released separately.

Birds aren't mammals. Their urine and feces are released simultaneously. That's what bird droppings are. The white gunk is mostly urine, with their feces mixed in.

Female birds don't menstruate either. They'll lay eggs on a cyclic basis whether or not they've had sex.

Like has been previously stated, birds deposit urine directly into their cloaca and excrete it along with poop.
