I have a huge bruise on my arm where I leaned against something while painting.
Black bruises on my knees and feet from sitting on the floor.
I need to wrap myself in bubble wrap.

I'm sorry to hear you're not well.

This is what I did to my leg when I fell into my fire. 3rd degree burns! My leg was in the flames for about 30 seconds!:

Wasn't it hot enough in Aus that you had to roast yourself a bit more?
God, that looks painful.
Is it healing ok?

I kept telling the Concord burns unit people I needed antibiotics but the wouldn't give them to me and
so I wound up with a "heavy growth of streptococcus" and a "moderate growth of staphylococcus". (As per report from a swab taken and sent to laboratory!)

Will it scar? I got third degree burns through scalding as a kid and I'm still scarred 23 years on.

Odd.
From my experience the hospitals seem more than willing to pump you full of drugs, whether necessary or not.

You bet mate but I was a little bit pissed and stumbled over one of the rocks around the BBQ pit and fell in.

Alcohol and fires don't mix.

My mates joked about me cooking a leg! Bastards!

How have you been Raleigh? Long time no hear!

Not in Sydney. I wish! But morphine based medications do NOTHING for me.I have that gene where they are ineffective to me - which really worries me because, later in life when my time is nearly done and I'll need some serious pain killers, there's not going to be anything they're going to give me to kill the pain!

Now, I just nearly stuck the lit end of the cigarette into my mouth. Burnt my lip. I think I should keep away from fires no matter how small. Talk about clumsy. Apparently it's part of my Aspiness! I can't even walk along a straight surface without tripping or falling over. Bloody dumb arse!

"It is a mild, mild wind, and a mild looking sky; and the air smells now, as if it blew from a far-away meadow; they have been making hay somewhere under the slopes of the Andes, Starbuck, and the mowers are sleeping among the new-mown hay. Sleeping? Aye, toil we how we may, we all sleep at last on the field."

Mild wind, mild sky and mowing lawns - Sounds like springtime in Idaho. :)

That must be very painful. Ouch! How is your leg, now?
