it wasn't until i had to talk the several miles up the side of highway d1 in croatia after dusk, to the nearest bus stop to get back to zagreb after i realized i would have otherwise been stranded there if i stayed any longer... that i realized i was no longer a child. :skull:

On the bus this morning the heating was on full blast, making it very uncomfortable even with most of the windows open. I've noticed that this situation occurs fairly regularly during the hottest months of the year. And yet, on the coldest days in December and January, when it's sub-zero outside, you can bet your life that the heating will be off.

Whether this is because the bus drivers in this part of the UK are brain-dead, or because they have a malevolent sense of humour, either way it's not great news for passengers....
