Today I played way too much Factorio.

I am doing a multiplayer game with my brother, he is making a factory that is slow but can make just about anything while I am working on mass producing the few things we need insane amounts of. His factory is a complex tangle of machines while mine is a neat array, the difference is so obvious that there would be a distinct border between our factories even if my brother didn't build a wall between them.

the way people refer to the heartland of america as the areas that aren't near an ocean make it seem like the oceans are some kind of impure corrupting force.

The expansions of the US and Russia were surprisingly similar, the main difference being that the US expanded westwards and Russia expanded eastwards. They made both ends meet at Alaska, the ownership of which was once debated.

my dad made breakfast this morning and it was great. Poached eggs and now coffee.

I think I'll stop watching NFL games.

I think I'll take the boat out, maybe enjoy a day of leisure on the open ocean

I hate it when the main character chooses "the safe option" in romantic dramas/movies etc. rather than the one they're more in love with.

I hate being sick right now especially after just pretending to be sick few days ago.

i cannot feel the warmth of the sun.

It's so hot, it feels more like July or August. It's almost like the seasons are one month off of how they're 'supposed to be'.
