When in doubt, ask an autistic. Chances are, they're obsessed with what you need to know.

What a nice bunch of bananas thread

People are just too nice here at WP! Jeepers.

Very helpful, too, especially with tech issues, as the young people have had more experience.

Sometimes I get a little carried away with language. But I never tried to intentionally hurt someone, though if someone says something nasty, I will tell them. Maybe someone had a bad day.

I like to do the topic sentence introduction. It gets me in the mood to anwser the post as accurately as I can. I hope I have not written the same topic sentence twice without calling it part two.

Thank you all for your kind words. No has ever done this before, anywhere! :o

I don't participate in "(fill in the blank with specific member name)" threads-but this is exception, because I've been thinking how much I like the pithy, clever statement she puts before each post. Nifty !
Also, for the longest time I read her name as being "sartreuse"-like "chartreuse" (no, I'm not dyslexic-just that sometimes names make more sense to me with couple letters switched). Didn't realize it was actually "sartre" (existential writer) + "sue" (name) until I had to type it in once, when quoting her.

Sortofsue topic

Hello Belfast and Kalister1. Thank you for writing.

Belfast, I like how you read my user name. I sound more exotic! Another interesting spin to things, like the pithy topic title I chose. I like the word pithy. Better than pissy.

I noticed someone does not like me. Oh, well. Jesus and Darwin are disliked even more!

Kalister1, I almost wish I was like Simone de Beauvoir, and toyed with the ideas of making my name Simonesue. I like alliteration. This is why Wittgensteinsue was a distant third of my choices. Not alliterative enough. But I might use it at some point.

Mary Sue was another random idea.

Great ideas. I love ideas. Thanks for appreciating me. And hello, Tim_Tex! I am glad you are not texted out yet. You and Cockneyrebel are fixtures here now!! :D :D :D

See, there you go again, re-wording succinctly in an intellectually, linguistically, quirkily satisfying way. I enjoy those.

For the record, I voted "don't know-" (middle option: not yes, not no), just because that is true & I'm being literal. Don't know anyone online, so it's hard for me to go along with simple yes/no "stamp of approval" or question of "liking" a stranger (though I've read words written by aforementioned unknown person).

Unbeknownst topic

Yes, Belfast, you are right. Sometimes I forget that I do not really 'know' anyone online, and I probably never will. But somehow part of the personality comes through, sort of like an aura. I recognize some writing styles, or someone writes things the same way over and over, in a characteristic way. I have noticed this when I read some columnists in the newspaper and then hear/watch them talk on TV. I have read many autobiographies of interesting human beings and I have noticed this in their writing, too.

So I have noticed a style about you. Everyone has a sort of individual signature, unique to that person. Fascinating. :)
