Those prices look cheap to me, be glad
you`re not living here
milk: $10 for a gallon at least
cigarettes: around $17 for a 20-pack
gas, 95 unleaded: around $11 for a gallon
one bread: around $2-3
this is not the place to be poor i guess.
and medicines... easily $800 a month if you need
something on a regular basis, that is so very expensive
here, pills and stuff
rent a house/apartment: around $1000-1200 a month usually,
for something not to big, just a place to live (cheaper in the
countryside) Biggest rent i`ve had was $2,800 a month for the
upper floor of a big house right ouside a major city, and that wasn`t
even for the whole house, just 4-5 rooms on the top floor - sick prices.
One time i payed $800 a month for a 12 square meters room thats small!
it was so small i had to go into the hallway outside the room to change my mind.
And that was not even considered as being expensive.
And car repairs... i almost get tears in my eyes just thinking about it, the mechanics
take $120 an hour for the work, and the parts are very very expensive. Fixed the
exhaustpipes on my car a while ago, some small leaks due to off road driving,
total came to $850 and thats just insane, they had the car for 2 hours
and it was a very easy job. And the price for a new, nice car: easily $100,000 its just insane, think we have the most expensive cars anywhere, theres about 15 different
taxes just to own a car, and then some more if you want to drive it, and then some more
on top of that if you want to use the public roads, and then.. omg.. maybe i should move No wait, better idea, i break out and start my own country i`ve had
enough of this crap hehe *making grand plans*
