Mine takes itself too seriously, I think

I probably should have chosen something less identifiable to people who actually know me.

Eh, I've been carrying this Star Trek reference for a few years now. I don't have any better ideas, though.

Everybody thinks that my username has something to do with a disc jockey...

I like my current username but I didn't really like my last username because it was misleading. It made some people think I don't like Calicos because of the word 'liked' in it. So who knows how many others thought the same. Now I go by Calico on other forums or Spokane Girl.

Mine is meaningless. I'd like to choose a name with some sort of meaning. :chin:

I'm bored with mine, but I'm hopeless at choosing good ones. I think you need something easy to type that people can relate to.

Mine was better before I realized it is quite common on the interwebz...

Remember: accept no substitutions!

Well, it's nice to know you're not a parakeet...

I did a search for "Gatefreak" (my other SN) a while ago, and found there was a rather prominent member of another online forum with that name. They were also female... (I was just out of eighth grade at the time, so it was kinda embarrassing...)

Other than that, I like my username. I can either say 'ooh, barracuda," or have the following exchange:

Them:"Hey your SN is 'Barracuda?'"
Me: "Yeah?"
T: "Ooh, barracuda."
M: "That's not funny."
T: "Yes it is-ooh, barracuda!"
M: /smack
