How are you?
I am curious to see how many aspies are currently trying to or have already learned Japanese, I think I should've posted this in my nunchucks topic but I find the two aren't completely related. I have been learning Japanese almost my whole life, well that is to say I have tried. I couldn't learn it in school no matter how hard I tried and then I tried learning it by using Rosetta Stone and found it extremely boring, (and it crashed) I am now learning it through a video game called My Japanese Coach. I highly recommend the game for DS to anyone who wants to learn Japanese.

I did Japanese as one of my senior high school subjects. Lucky if I can remember much now

I can't learn other languages. I fail miserably no matter what. Didn't even pick up on spanish.
That said, japanese is one of the languages I've wished I could learn. Other ones are italian and latin.
...I think I can sing some j-pop songs decently though (after listening to them 8million+ times :lol: )

You could have just said Thursday or Mokuyoubi, it's still hard for me to read outside of romaji.

hahaha i've been slowly picking up the language since I was 12 (watching anime and series and movies subbed sure helps) but 2009...is the year I'm finally gonna really learn it! All the stores around me seem to be sold out of that DS game....so I have to wait for that. Oh well!

I'm sorry, but I don't know much more than how to count to 999 and I know the days of the week, and months, and most hiragana and katakana. I don't quite know how to tell time yet, it's a little hard.
