Why do people think that just because a person is a celebrity, they're good people and then they mourn them when they die? Some of them are pedophiles, murderers, the worst kinds of people. Just because they're in front of a camera talking B.S., it makes them a good person? I'll NEVER understand people. Just because a comedian makes you laugh, then that makes it okay for this person to babysit your kids? People ought to see celebrities for what they are at the moment and not assume that they're some sort of savior. If somebody entertains well, that's what they do. Their singing is not going to bring forth the second coming of the Lord. If somebody grills you a nice hamburger, what are you going to do? Declare that person a god? I wish the truth would come out about ALL OF THEM. Maybe TV should not be watched at all.

Your opinion is a popular one which starts debates like can you separate someone's art from the person? For me personally, I think we held celebrities to a high regard because they achieved a status that the average person will never be able to do. Like Tom Brady at the Superbowl, all of the thousands of people at the arena and the 100 million something people at home were watching him ONE PERSON giving a speech after he won the highest reward in his profession for the 6th time. I was in aware when I thought about this, at that point can you even call him a normal person? yeah he bleeds and breaths oxygen like me and you but he is literally capable of doings things that 99.9% of the world can't. Tom Brady will be remembered decades from now and into the next century (if global warming doesn't kill us) while the average person will be forgotten. So yeah this fact is why we held celebrities to a high regard. Some of them are awful people and some of them are good. There is really nothing you can do to change that, you just have to live with it.
