Ah yeah Doe Maar, one of the greatest Dutch bands! This song, it's about were your house (your home) is, because of two different cultures. He's saying that this song is for al the people from far away country's who've come to the Netherlands to make a living. Because his father came from Dutch-Indonesia to the Netherlands together with 300.000 others. He sings about how he longs to another home in the land of his father, but will be a stranger there ass welll. I didn't get a very good translation, because google translate is 'ret*d' but that's whats it basically about. Great song! Thanks for sharing!

i don't "have" a language. merely because i am able to speak a language does not mean i have custody over it, unless, that is i manage to get my rear in gear and learn what i need to know and finish crafting a language, then i can own it and i will be able to speak in what would be closer to language(s), but can a language even be owned? syntax and morphology are are like facts and rules (with exceptions) but i doubt you can copyright facts and rules.

you can copyright texts in any language. if i could create a written grammar of one... :chin:

Isn’t Klingon effectively owned by its creator? And I think there was some sort of dispute about the rights to Loglan, which was only solved by abandoning the language and creating Lojban instead.
