Hi, Rebbieh!
That´s normal.Take a look back in WP-posts and see how often someone asks the same. I was dxéd two years ago and only recently, by the help of a trained cognitive psychologist have I started to see it myself - but I´m still surprised and still learning.
We have only tried being ourselves. Any person will think, that their cognitive experience is like anyone elses, so recognizing your difference from mainstream is a slow process - and not two aspies/auties are the same.
No one has ALL the traits and many desriptions are very limiting.
Believe your psych and don´t fall for the "imposter syndrome".
Oh sorry, I didn't mean to ask a questions others often ask. Sorry.
Anyway, I do believe my psychologist. I really do. My brain just messes with me sometimes, which is annoying.
