It's sounds like your kid might have distortions of reality and, possibly, delusions.

Like the other poster stated, I would be wary, but never openly express the wariness.

Whatever his/her gender identity, make sure you convey to your kid that you see him/her as a person first. Everything else is secondary.

I hope your kid comes around, starts thinking clearly and rationally, and sees the folly of it all.

Set boundaries. Assert your right to be treated with respect. If your kid doesn't desire to treat you with respect, I would cut off contact. Don't allow manipulation; this is a definite possibility.
