I noticed that today was a Friday the 13th. In many cultures, that day is a traditionally "unlucky" day, and people try to avoid scheduling important things on Friday the 13th.
I realized that a.) Superstition is a reflection of our culture, and b.) autistics don't have as much of a connection with the culture as most people do.

Personally, I don't think they really mean anything, but I always wished they would, so it would spice up an otherwise boring or typical day.
In past experience, which I'll go by, it hasn't meant anything specific. Some Fri13's are bad, some are great, and some are just... normal days. Basically they're just normal days.

I'll believe in those superstitions when scientists prove they are accurate.
The only belief I accept is God because philosophically, this concept exist therefore it exists as a concept (which has nothing to do with its possible acts, it's just that we can think of it as a concept and a principle for humanity, therfore it exists in at least our head, even in the head of most atheists since everyone argue over its existence or non existence by using the name of the concept). It may seem contradictory but the concept of superstitions actually comes from polytheist religions (latin/greek) and is linked to the fear of their wrath, thus it's not truly a concept as it seems to be more like an act (just as the miracle and I don't believe in miracles because I haven't seen one and they usually have a scientific explanation).

I know of many high rise buildings with both 13 floors and flats numbered 13, perhaps it is common practice in supersticious countries more than it is here in the UK.

Friday, October 13th, 1307 - the day many of the Knights Templar were arrested under the orders of Pope Clement V. This is why we recognize Friday the 13th as a day of mishaps and horror, its because of what happened to the Templars on that day many centuries ago.
