ADHD seems common here, but I don't have it. I was wondering if there was anyone else who doesn't have it.

I have anxiety and OCD.

I have Dyspraxia aswell as AS. But I don't have ADHD. In fact, I'm far from ADHD. I do have a high anxiety disorder, mixed in with a little depression. (Having depression doesn't always necessarily mean you're a miserable person).

I said that I had no comorbid conditions.

Assuming the definition to comorbidity to be the presence of another condition running simultaneously to, but not caused by the condition of interest, I said that I didn't have an comorbid conditions to my ASD.

I do have repeated episodes of clinical depression and also anxiety, but it has been stated by my psychiatrist that these are a direct result of my high level of stress caused by trying to adapt to a world that is not "designed for people like me" (i.e. with an autism spectrum disorder). So I do not count them as comorbids, more as symptoms of my ASD.

Now that I think about it, however, I do have a comorbid condition but I think that here we are generally talking about neurological conditions, SpLDs and mental health difficulties/personality disorders that might cause some grey areas as to which condition causes what symptoms, and as my comorbid is an autoimmune disease it doesn't seem relevant to this poll.

Many people in my family have ADHD. Some of them even have it severely. I am not one of them though. As far as I know, I just have autism. I might have a co-morbid of some form of anxiety (not social anxiety), but I am not really sure.

Not to get technical, but I don't think they actually use the term ADD anymore. I think now it is referred to as ADHD-inattentive type. So ADD is still a form of ADHD. But that's not overly important, I guess....

As far as I know, I don't have anything other than AS.
Sometimes I feel so alien I have something that is as yet undiscovered, though.

Maybe I haven't been paying enough attention. All I know is that ADD is attention deficit disorder, and ADHD is attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. I have problems focusing, but I'm not hyperactive. If I'm misinformed in some way, please enlighten me. I'm not exactly known for my ability to keep up with the world. I'm still not even sure what Twitter is. :?

No---I do not have ADHD, but I strongly suspect I have OCD along with my Asperger's.

I dislike the diagnosis of ADHD (or ADD; whatever you want to call it.)

As far as I know I have both ADHD and Autism.
I was diagnosed with ADHD when I was 13 and diagnosed with autism at 20.

AD in HD topic

My youngest NT daughter has ADD, and my oldest had some learning challenges that she has outgrown.

My NT son is completely clear.

I am dyspraxic, mild OCD and AS. After almost 57 years, I can live with it. :D

Lol.

Anyway, I have PTSD. According to the DSM-V I just barely meet criteria for ADHD-inattentive type, but I don't think I have it since I didn't meet the kid criteria when I was younger (you need 6 as a kid and 4 as an adult, I have 4 or 5 depending on how you define it).
