Recently I noticed, both interestingly and funnily, that my baby niece just begins to laugh when she sees cats... and analogously I cuddle my kitten way too much... so much that she's getting angry and getting out her tiny claws... which makes her even cuter, which in return means more cuddling...

That made me wonder... when my ex used to get angry I similarly found him even cuter, which have have trivialized some issues...

I think it's different for cats, they're just cute regardless of what they do. Angry humans are the worst. :(

Well, if the humans are already cute and scrunch up their face or such, they'll end up looking like chipmunks.

I am overly receptive to 'cute', I swear to God it can paralyse me sometimes. If you want a sure-fire way of distracting me, show me a basket of kittens, I am powerless...

A weakness of people with AS.

Neurotypicals take things at face value while people with AS tend to over-analyze.

If someone is angry then not taking them seriously for their anger can make things worse.

He wasn't supposedly neurotypical. He used to bash his head in the wall when getting angry.
