Is there a connection between Autism and Lyme Disease?

Hi all,
Recently diagnosed with high functioning autism. I came across several studies suggesting that chronic lyme disease can mimic the symptoms of autism and comorbids. I have always had some autism symptoms (social impairment, repetitive motions and behaviors, disorganization, clumsiness), but other symptoms, such as depression, anxiety, sound and light sensitivity, dyslexia, short term memory impairment, slow processing speed, and impaired focus did not begin until after I contracted lyme disease when I was 9. Has anyone ever found that getting treatment for Lyme or other infectious diseases cured or reduced their Autism symptoms?
