Do you think it could help to spend a bit of time beforehand in the humid bathroom air without clothes? It seems like the ambient vapor would provide somewhat of a go-between. Then maybe using a damp washcloth or something.

I take a bath two to three times a week, with epsom salts if I have any. I'm really sad that I won't be able to do this when I'm at college this Fall.

I usually feel a lot better after a bath. Scrubbing my skin all over with a wet brush takes away my sensory issue of random itching for a while. It feels good when I first lay back in the water. The warm water seems to soften my muscles and relax me, easing away minor aches and pains, and the steam is good for my vocal chords, which helps my singing. I've tried epsom salts but they didn't make any difference.

for a while [a few years] i was gettin' pretty stanky, what with only bathing on friday night so i could go grocery-gettin' at the wal marche every saturday for my sundries. now i am closer to thinking that cleanliness-godliness so i bathe at least every other day unless i have to be around people, in which case it is daily. i will not stink around other people.

Bathing helps me with my skin sensitivities, being submerged and only feeling the warm water on my skin helps to "reset" it after a day of being touched by other objects.

i like to use the shower jacuzzi nozzle hard against knotted muscles and other sore muscle spots. also handy to use it as a portable bidet.

to be delicate, it is a nozzle sprayer wand or water stream that cleans your tailpipe after you use the facilities.
