Recently started CBT therapy (technically for my ADHD) and curious as to whether or not anyone has tried and had any success with it (ADHD or ASD/HFA).

Yes! I highly recommend it! I had it for OCD and it worked very well! (I don’t have adhd though, and it didn’t really lessen my autistic traits since it was primarily for OCD)

I had CBT for self harm issues when I was 13. It was difficult to go through but well worth it.

Very useful.

It allowed me to take a step back from things and see things from different and new perspectives.

It turned my work situation from working with (apparently) a load of bullies to realising that in fact they are all rather useless at their jobs.

It changed my frame of reference.

I had it for OCD. It's a worthwhile toolkit, which does help to keep the OCD in check.

Hi! CBD really helps according to a friend. She mentioned that as someone diagnosed with ADHD, it helped her block negative emotions she constantly feels. Don't worry, it's totally normal to be scared at first. Over time, you'll see its positive effects.

Do you mean CBD or CBT?

CBD, I believe, has something to do with cannabis.

CBT is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.

That’s why I was asking  . Those are two very different things.

The great thing with CBT is that not only does it give you the tools to deal with the problem you're getting CBT for, you can also apply it to dealing with other problems as well.
