I wonder if there can be better alternative name to Wrong Planet, such as changing it to different to Different Planet.

I told my dad about Wrong Planet website and community and he said that he didn't like that name because it implies that there is something very wrong with us when it's not true. I hope you know what I mean. My dad said it should be called Different Planet instead.

There's nothing wrong with US.
The planet is wrong because it belongs to NTs.
They made it wrong.

But I do feel like I'm on the wrong planet. And the planet gets more wrong every day, and because of it we might not have a planet left very soon.

I could be wrong, but I think the name comes from the fact that because our brains are wired differently from NTs, it's like we're from a different culture or even a different planet. I know I definitely feel like I'm on the wrong planet, and I've had to spend my whole life trying to figure out these people's customs.

That actually makes sense. I am sorry, I didn't really know. I sometimes feel like I am on a different planet too, so I am starting to understand a little bit.

There is nothing wrong with the name "WrongPlanet".

"FnordWorld" might be a better choice, but that's just my opinion . . .

Can you ask him to explain the logic he used to arrive at that conclusion? It doesn't imply that at all so I'm wondering why he would think that.

I personally do not like the name because implies we are not human. Both in 2014 and 2019 I ran Wrong Planet polls about this and the sentiment was overwhelmingly to keep the name, that “Wrong Planet” resonated greatly with most members. I doubt this sentiment has changed but we will see.

It turned out most members did not think we are not human, they got the hidden meaning, I was being too literal on an autism forum(LOL).
