Banned because that sounds like a delicious addition to soup!

They could also be the primordial form of dango, for that matter. I saw a miso glazed version to just eat as a side dish or snack. I can imagine a sweet soy version, or one with red bean paste inside.

Or how about a thin layer of rice paste, then toast. Apply a layer of thin red bean paste, and let dry, then add another layer of rice paste and toast again!
