wish I could intelligently choose between the two. diamond/pearl is prettier than platinum IMHO.

I want to go back to the era of film, the 90s was the last time I didn't feel overwhelmed by technology. even though I am fully aware of the benefits of digital.

That is a tough decision.
But I think I'd have to go with the Humvee. Multifuel capable, low tech, armoured. And I like the way they look more than the smart cars.
