Same here. An improvement over 20s and 30s, but I really would like some 60s and 70s. Then I will know it is springtime.

It seems that the oldest living person at 117 has died. She was said to have been the last living person born in the 1800s. Just imagine all the things she had seen.

Yeah, I heard about it on the news just a few hours ago. To be honest, I had no idea there were still people alive who were born in the 1800's. Even my grandfather who was born at the beginning of WW1, was amazed by all the technological progress the world had made in his life time, and he couldn't keep up with it for the last decades he lived. internet was really a big unknown thing to him. He remembered when they got electricity where he lived. I don't think any of us will ever see as much as his generation and those who got to see the world up to the couple of decades after WW2 did.
