The people and the country itself always seem to bounce right back no matter what kind of horrors, man-made and natural, have hit them. Nukes, tsunamis, earthquakes... 8O

My mother once said that Anne of Green Gables was very popular in Japan, and I once even saw an anime based on the book. My mom said a lot of girls wanted to move to P.E.I.
