i'm an intj. interesting that it's so rare in the population at large but so common here. i wonder if this is why i get along so well with people on the spectrum, even though i'm not?

INTJ. I've taken the full Myers Briggs test (all 600+ questions) three times over the past 20 years, always with the same result. You're right, Irulan: INTJ certainly seems more common here than in society in general.

I'm the only ENFJ. I'm not sure if that's good or my strategy of emotional masochism in order to develop social skills has maybe backfired.

It really is. Though not surprising, of course.

I wouldn't expect too many of us to be extroverted, for example.

I think there was a juncture in my development in which my desire to mate overwhelmingly outweighed my desire to never leave my apartment. Then through drawing attention to myself from being unique, I eventually began to crave more attention. Who doesn't like a compliment? Well you have to earn them.

More than the other Artisans, Composers are in tune with their senses, and so have a sure grasp of what belongs, and what doesn't belong, in all kinds of works of art. While the other Artisans are skilled with people, tools, and entertainment, Composers have an exceptional ability-seemingly inborn-to work with subtle differences in color, tone, texture, aroma, and flavor.

Although Composers often put long, lonely hours into their artistry, they are just as impulsive as the other Artisans. See I'm a lot like that too. I see everything as a greater part of Causality and I do my best to try and see the order of things inside the chaos of the clockwork. However I believe in learning by doing. I like getting my hands dirty and into the thick of things now so that I can go back to my happy place with reward in tow.
