I think my uncle lives in that area now. I haven't been down to see his new house, though.

Montana is so beautiful. I would love to live there.

So much of the western USA has a stark beauty ! !!

Except Nevada USA, it's just plain stark. One of the most depressing places I've ever seen. Utah is lovely, never been to Montana.

Montana's really pretty. Only spent a
few days there, but I loved it. Silly
state though - they have anti-smoking
laws. I thought the West was free.

It would seem like Oregon would be more anti-smoking?

Wyoming and Idaho are two places where I think an aspie could fade away into the stunning geology and not be noticed for their eccentricities. I have a fantasy of removing myself as far away from other people as possible in the wilds somewhere.

Utah is kind of nice in that regard, because there is a very strong Mormon culture. Then in Salt Lake City there is a very strong "alternative" culture seperate from the Mormon culture, and an ASpie can easily fade away into that.

I don't know. I get treated the same way everywhere. Nebraska, Iowa, South Dakota, Wyoming, Colorado and Utah. They all treat me like some little kid that needs to be taken care of instead of like I actually have a brain. Same with my best friend. We kind of muddle around and people rush in to help us because apparently we look like we are going to fall apart at any second!

LOL Maybe so. My friend looks young as well. Now you know why when people ask me how long I've been married and I say almost 26 years, they immediately say, HOW OLD ARE YOU?????

LOL I don't want them throwing him in jail. Besides, I'm too Aspie. I always say, "I"m 47! How old do you think I am? I wasn't born in Tennessee." LOL I don't do coy well which really throws them.

Look shy, say "when I was 14 the prophet of our church said he should marry me, that I should have lotsa babies for him." Then look slightly embarrassed.

THAT should raise their eyebrows ! !!

Not a chance and no talk of babies. That was the condition of the marriage.
