Totally hypothetical, but say a high level (pro, elite, etc) athlete 'came out' as autistic/aspie.
Do you think this be a good thing, as it would be another example of someone who had achieved success, or would they simply end up used as inspiration porn, or another 'not like my child' person for parents and critics to belittle?
What would the pros and cons of being open about an ASD be?

It would make no difference to me, since I am no fan of professional sports or the people who play them.
