I'd consider myself an androgyne or a "demiboy" (quotation marks because I don't like the term; I prefer "nb boy"). I'm AMAB and go by he/they pronouns. I'd consider myself to have a balance of masculine and feminine traits, and I feel the most comfortable when I look androgynous. I'm afraid of my behavior being read in an overly "masculine" light, like if I talk loud and interrupt people I don't want them to think that I'm being aggressive or dominant. Sometimes I think I could get more into a femme presentation and wish it was more accepted to wear "female" outfits in public, and other times I feel comfortable just looking like a guy with kind of a 90s indie aesthetic. It varies from day to day, but an androgynous nature is what I keep going back to.

Yeah & I don' really think anyone including myself takes it seriously. I'm a pretty normal guy in most ways but the reality doesn't fit that archetype.

Telling people in L&D here didn't go so great. :(

Well I'm none too excited about the process of finding out for sure but there's a chance I've got an extra chromosome or just weird autism phenotype stuff associated with physical gender expression.

I'm wishing the girls in my life recognized more how much I prefer just being around them on equal terms.

^ so you think you're some kind of weird reject now?

Welcome to my world.

However, how you see you isn't necessarily how other people see you.

I guess it's not like I ever didn't. 8O

I suppose you're right that my friend sees me as more male than even I might. :?

I'd say that's how 10 or so close friends see me so I'm trying to pay more attention to them.

I'm not really image conscious anyway, it's more important to do good things with people I love than to be a perfectionist.

When I signed up on the website, I noticed there were only two genders, it made me a little sad. It truly shows how non conforming genders are not recognized.

When I signed up I didn't select a gender. Later I came back in and was editing it just to see and mine got stuck on Female. I don't mind but it's not quite right.

I get perceived as feminine a lot. I have feminine taste and I like things with exotic colors and floral patterns plus I hate getting dirty and having to work too hard.

My Mom is straight but she is a tomboy and she honestly acts more like a guy than I do lol.

My Mom also says that I am more tender hearted than any female she knows.

I'm non-binary and I'm proud of it. I identify as male so I dress as such. I have my own special touches and trademarks. "The Schultz Helmet" or anything that looks like one is one of those trademarks. Another marker that I use is that I wear loose fitting men's clothes but they're not crazy baggy. They're loose enough that no one sees my ugly parts. I've also practiced deepening my voice over the years to sound as much like a man as possible and for the most part, it's payed off. I also don't like the fact that there are only two genders to pick from. When in doubt, I select Male from the two choice options.
