Hi Britte :D

I grew up with pop music which salved the wounds I was receiving as a child.

"Candles in the Wind" by Melanie. Especially accompanied by a video which took place on a winter's day in Miami.

I am not familiar with that song, but, I shall look it up, as I am curious. I know of Elton John's Candle (singular) in The Wind. I hope you've had a pleasant day.

My mistake. Melanie did "Candles in the Rain" LOL

She also did "Brand New Key" about romance, and about old-fashioned roller skates which required a key.

You really have an eclectic mind when it comes to music, Britt.

I'd be curious as to your impression of the "12-tone" composers.

I didn't develop an appreciation for classical music until I became an adult.

I grew up absolutely steeped in top-40 pop music. It was my escape from the world.

^I shall get back to you, regarding 12-tone composers/compositions. I am finishing up my work, currently.

^ I hope I didn't put any pressure on you. You seem to be working hard.

I hope everything is harmonious for you for the rest of this evening.

She has impeccable taste in music, it's something I have always admired about her. I always look forward to what she has to share.

Thank you, both. Or, perhaps thanks isn't the applicable response. blackicmenace, you have 'impeccable taste in music, as well'. kk, I haven't forgotten about your enquiry.I will get back to you, here, tomorrow.
