Let's pretend there's a Head DJ who gets to completely ban or erase from all memory whatever songs the Head DJ deems necessary. If you were Head DJ, what would you ban or erase?

The entire "Rumours" album from Fleetwood Mac so so overplayed, boring music about hippie experiments in relationships gone bad.
Any post David Lee Roth Van Halen. Not that is not good music but stupid to play that when the David Lee Roth era was so much better?
Most of Journey
Anything by Bon Jovi
Born to Run great song but enough already
Nickelback and the like. Why play those psuedo alt rock acts when there was so much fantastic alt rock that came out?
I would keep "Kung Fu Fighting" song sucks but it does have a certain kitsch nostalgic value. Same with "Get Dancing" by Disco Tex and the Sex O Letts from the same era.

Of yours I would keep Bon Jovi. At least for the stuff on Cross Road. Well the stuff I like anyway. I'd toss Have a Nice Day though. I couldn't toss all of Journey either. Nickleback...I've never understood the problem with them. I only like a couple songs from them, so I'd have to keep them too. I can't think of anything by them that I outright hate. I do like If Everyone Cared though.
Two more for me:
Dancing Queen by Abba
Somebody's Baby by Phantom Planet

Dancing Queen - yes, too overplayed, they had a lot of other better songs.
Off topic rant - Why has ABBA become not only a disco group but considered one of the prime examples of 70's disco? At the time I do not remember anybody considering them disco, they were considered Top 40 pop. I guess because they had "dancing" in the title of their most popular song and they came from the '70's. Where is the "boom boom boom" beat? Even the most pop Euro Disco act Silver Convention had that beat.

The first thing on your list...definitely!
A) if you hafta to warp a word the way she has to warp Umbrella to get it to fit the tune there is something wrong.
B) It should be against the law for any singer to say the phrase "ella...ella...ella...ella .." in any song unless they immediately break out into a jazzy scat singing homage to Ella Fitzgerald!
