I don't understand why it's an issue.

Feminists moan about the patriarchal system that encourages them to wear make up to be validated, yet they play into it, adore the attention and scorn those who wish to see them without make up via this silly (yet amusing app). All the while they encourage people to simultaneously appreciate women without make-up.

IMO it's just an app that uses algorithms to determine what it thinks is make-up and applies a filter to make a face look like it isn't wearing any. It's not like it's gender specific it is just being used by trolls to primarily target outspoken individuals and highlight hypocrisy in their talking points. And guess what, every reaction proves the trolls right.

I saw a thread on Facebook in response to this that said women should have an app where they can list men as sexual predators no questions asked and it would be shared on the internet. A man asked what would stop them from adding people out of revenge and got told to f*** off.
