*walks nervously into the bar...sees a few familiar faces*

A Captain Morgan and Diet Coke, please. Tina Turner "What's Love Got to do with It" on jukebox.

Is it too early to be in the bar? It is 5:00 here...bartender? Anyone? Plays "one is the loneliest number" on jukebox.

It's quarter to three, there's no one in the place except you and me
So, set 'em up, Joe, I got a little story you oughta know
We're drinkin', my friend, to the end of a brief episode
Make it one for my baby and one more for the road

Well, this is oddly exciting! I have never had a whole bar to myself before! What would you like to do? I am not one for dancing on the tables, in fact I really don't dance. We can pour our own drinks easily enough. Where's the rum? Should we play a trivia game, or try our hands at pool?

Hmm. I am not certain I know that game. Is that the one where you use a flat disk to apply pressure to another disk in the hopes of flipping it into a cup? If so, then lets have some rum shots and give it a try, if not, please demonstrate and I will give it a whirl. If it is just you and me, auntblabby, we can at least get to know one another. What music would you like to play on the jukebox? Do you come here often?

never actually played it but it looks like gentle fun  and for me it'll have to be restricted to hard cider shots, can't handle strong alky. :hic: don't come here too often but now and then. :) I like oldies on the box. like at least 3 decades oldies. :dj: what music would you rather hear?

Oooh. I really like the surround sound, auntblabby, just don't turn it up too loud. At least 3 decades old oldies, huh? So...70's and 80's? I am down with that, and also depressed that you have identified these eras as oldies. *sigh* Still, I suppose they are by any time passage standard. Okay. We have the hot tea, we have the hard cider, I now know how to play tiddlywinks. excellent. Sigbold, would you like to play?

Admires subwoofers, plays some Pet Shop Boys on jukebox to try it out. Sounds fantastic. Has anyone here played Munchkin, the card game, before? I have a copy here if anybody wants to play. Also, does this bar have a trivia contest...and does anybody else want to play?
