Imagine a 30 year old male dating a 19 year old female...

As I've gotten older, my perception is that younger people sometimes want to be serious in a long term relationship, but usually they hit a wall as they reach their mid twenties where they really start to think about how that's all they've experienced and time is running out, so they break it off. The 30 year old has something to lose here, too.
I'm almost the same age as you, and remember having the same desires. When I was 18, I wanted a serious girlfriend more than anything. Although, that was partially because I "knew" that flings, one-night stands, and hookups were beyond my ability. Lo and behold, I found one, only she was unattractive and boring. I was in love with her anyway, because "love the one you're with".By my early 20's, I stopped wanting a relationship and started wanting hookups. Well, they didn't happen; I was too ugly for any girl to have casual sex with me. And I stopped wanting a relationship. So at 22, I hired my first escort, who took my virginity. And that started a 15-year escort sex habit.
Today, I don't want a relationship, either, albeit for different reasons. I saw many people I know get into relationships, and fully realized how boring and unpleasant relationships really are. So I'm happy being single. And my sex drive is barely 1/100th of what it was 15 years ago, so lack of sex is absolutely not an issue.
