Why does everyone think the age of consent is 18 everywhere? Its 18 in very few states of America. 16 here in my country. But people will swear up and down that its 18 no matter how much you try to convince them. Its scary how much today's world has us scared of teenage girls. If shes a day under 18 its a no go in most peoples heads.

No matter what you say to try to correct their world view, they will find some way to rationalize it into the entire world wants to kill you if you think 17.9999 year olds are attractive (or 15.9999), they have all of the signs of a mental illness. I really hate when they start making s**t up about the laws of other countries, it's like man you obviously have no idea because you are just saying false s**t, why does your mind instantly try to rationalize things to make it seem like your country has the objective world wide indisputably correct by global consensus age of consent?

How does it feel to have been so lucky as to be born in a nation that got the age of consent JUST RIGHT? I mean, with a range from 9 to 21 across the globe, there are 13 different years that could have been selected, but your super smart and super moral country just hit the nail right on the f*****g head. Seriously what are the chances of that?

You answered yourself. Female body must be healthy - and due to pregnancy, woman's physical health is a very important factor.
It is less important (not totally negligible but less important) in males. They only give the semen, they don't need to endure carrying the new growing life for months. Therefore, factors other than physique have relatively more weight in males.

It's still inappropriate. Teenagers aren't grown up emotionally yet. Just because your body has reached a point where you are able to procreate it doesn't mean that you should get involved in sexual activity.

Because it means the millions of men in the u.k who work low pay or low status jobs would go dateless.

If the vast majority of the male workforce went dateless, then society would collapse. Some bodies got to do those jobs.
You have say a businessmen at the top who owns a cider company and drives a Bentley, he's an entrepreneur and catch in every way due to money, but who's doing the dirty work picking the apples for a low wage to make the cider and to make the boss rich and keep the company successful and afloat? Without the guys at the bottom, the guys at the top wouldn't profit either.

How can men truly be productive members of society if they are denied women? or rather women not allowing them to date them, as those women only deem the men with the best jobs worthy. Or maybe low paid men are 'pushed' to date obese women when they simply cannot do that. As more and more women go to college or University and turn there noses up at men with low status jobs, this is more or less what's going on now, albeit in a hidden segment of society thats forgotten about... or just not talked about. If this epidemic of un-ambitious young men really exists, can it be accounted for by the scarcity of slender, attractive women? Why are young men driven to achieve? Evolutionary biology hypothesizes that males pursue achievement to attract women. But if there are so few desirable (read: healthy weight) women, a young male may conclude that all efforts toward self-improvement and success are futile. With so few thin women, even years of herculean effort will not provide him a reasonable chance to mate with someone attractive. So why bother? Why not let the immigrants do those jobs?

But at the same time, women who are that caught up on their career's and the career title of a potential mate, and think they're too good for 95% of guys may not be the type women you really want in your life as a man.

Being attracted to pubescent teens makes you an ephebiphile, and if you're attracted to preteens a hebephile. They are both not technically pedophilia, but still immoral and illegal in most places for a reason. Adults having sex with non-adults is wrong. That this sort of thing needs to be stated here is why I stopped posting regularly on this forum. If you're an adult attracted to teens you need help.

Well, here's the thing about weight. I think it's fine to be plus sized as long as you eat healthy and exercise. I am a size 18/20. That's curvy and plus sized.

I also jog, do yoga and other exercise.

In other words. it's okay for men to have preferences based on "biology" and "evolution," but it's not okay for women to have preferences based on "biology" and "evolution."

As for being attracted to teenagers, sure, you can be "attracted" to them, but being attracted to them and acting on it are two different things. Some girls have a condition called "precocious puberty" that causes them to develop physically at a much younger age than normal. Just because a young girl has breasts and is fertile does not mean it's appropriate to pursue a sexual relationship with her. Emotional maturity matters, unless you think it's perfectly fine to have sex with a girl of seven just because she has a "grown-up" body. After all, the youngest women to have a baby in recorded history was only five.
