Awesome! Let us know if you get selected to be in the series!

(Even if you don't end up meeting anyone on the show, I think the television exposure and minor celebrity status could possibly help you out on other avenues)

I enjoyed the show a great deal, but my feelings are mixed.

On the one hand, it is the most diverse depiction of autism I've ever seen on screen. Each of the persons featured is unique, interesting and charming. I felt it very easy to identify with them.

On the other hand, it is still a reality TV show. That means it is being edited for a particular effect. And the events are set up and scripted with the intent to mimic reality but also has a great influence on what happens.

I'm left wishing there was more. I want to know the people in the show better. But I also recognize that I don't truly know them at all.

I will definitely watch the next series.

I don't like the idea that people on the spectrum can only match with other people on the spectrum.

Me neither. Seeing aspects of my life nobody seems to appreciate televised is not easy. I'm really put off from dating anyone as a result of this media zeitgeist. We are not on demand entertainment & we should be considering NTs as well, if only to be fair.

I know NTs as a whole already decided not to put up with us though, or there wouldn't be any shock value marketing going on here.

Great! You?

Inquisitor, hope you get picked.

A lot of mixed feedback in the thread with a lot of merits btw. Maybe season 2 will evolve it’s format, who knows.

I really liked the people on there. It surprised that some of those girls had such trouble dating, they seemed really easy to get along with.

I'm in such a couple, together since 2012, met in late 2008. And I strongly suspect that most of my previous partners were on the autism spectrum too.

I have heard of this show but haven't watched it yet

Maybe I should to restore my faith in the journey of finding true love and to get away from binge-watching reruns of SpongeBob SquarePants on Paramount Plus!

I think you need to find someone who enjoys watching Spongebob. :P

I think she's like the young woman on the Israeli show On The Spectrum who doesn't really know what she wants. A lot like that, in fact.

i haven't watched any episodes of the series yet, and it reminds me of a pattern that i've noticed about the difference between the men and women members of the show, series, that i will admit, i'm not fond of, and thinking about one of the members, i have mixed emotions when thinking about him.

Watching the first episode of the second season. Don't remember much from the first except that there was a girl who looked a lot like me and she said she loved someone on the first date. Interesting to see her back.

And the sword guy!! ! He was so cool. Looks like we got another sword guy too.
