I'm not sure why people would accept what some person says without any evidence or even any arguments which clarify their views. It's very strange to me. Sometimes people think that their perspective, whatever it is, is THE American perspective, but the reality is that not all Americans think the same. For instance, some need evidence and/or logic to believe something or to think a certain way; others do not.
