Bit of background: I met a girl at my sister's birthday party last November - very attractive (she's got quite an Egyptian look to her), easy to talk to, and fun to be around. I thought she was pretty awesome, to be honest.

So: I plucked up the courage to ask her out (via Facebook, seeing as we live some distance apart), and I got her reply today. I clicked on it expecting yet another rejection (which is the norm for me, seeing as I have a tendency to pick attached/gay/unfeeling cyborg women to fancy)... but she said yes. I was totally stunned - I'm not used to being this lucky, after all 8O

Of course, now this has opened up a whole slew of new problems and self-confidence issues... clearly my subconscious is determined to be a pest. On the other hand... success!

Now brace yourselves for the imminent splitting in half of the planet, as the laws of nature are irreversibly shattered :P

It gets easy when you expect rejection but do it anyways. Good for you!

I'll second you on always picking the attached/unfeeling cyborg women... I hadn't had a women tell me she was gay yet though.

Why oh why do I always fall for the cyborg women... :P

:thumright:

Hey, what's wrong with Cyberwomen?

But anyway, the laws of space and time will remain intact, unless your relationship actually works out and you stay together... for an Aspie, THAT'S an anomaly that could wipe out the universe.

You shouldn't post a pic of her on an online forum without her permission. She's the girl you like , then make sure to treat her in that way and not as if she's some trophy.

Dude, I told you not to build a scale model of the Large Hadron Collider in your room, but you just had to go ahead and do it, didn't you? Then you went and turned it on!
