Hi.
This is silly, but when I talk to people im not very loud and im monotone. At work people have to say "What?" 2 or 3 times. I think this happens because my voice sounds weird and subconsciously I don't want other people outside the person im talking to hear me.

Does this happen to anyone else or am I alone here?

I tend to talk TOO loud. Some people also think I'm judgmental even though I have not had very many personal conversations with them. I asked them why they think I'm judgmental and they say it's because of my tone of voice. Umm... what???

I rarely talk to anyone anymore unless I'm spoken to first - and when I do talk, I'm usually quiet and monotone, as well. For a similar reason (discretion - I grew up with a bunch of gossipers and I prefer privacy when I'm talking to people... it's to avoid other people trying to butt into the conversation and talk over me, too).

It's weird because when I go hang out with one particular friend of mine, I'm the total opposite. :? Still quiet, but much more hyperactive and talkative / random.
