I wish I had a best friend

Just got through watching Superbad. No boobies I'm sorry to say.

For those who have seen the movie, the big kid had a super best friend and they always hang out together and at the end when they are both wasted, they say I love you to each other. I don't want to go that far but I just wish I had a best friend that I could have over and we could spend the day together watching movies, playing video games and just chillin. Y'know?

There have been a few times in my life I've come close to having a close friend but there's always something to mess it up. In recent memory, there was this guy at Job Corps that I got along really well with and we would have gotten along great after JC too if he hadn't been caught with some weed in his stereo speaker. We had the same interests and we were about the same age and stuff.

Also, when I lived in a town in Maine called Bar Harbor, there was this guy who was into a lot of the same stuff I was into and what made it especially cool was he was out next door neighbor in the same apartment building. He won't talk to me now because I gave his ex-boyfriend a BJ.

I hope that happens again soon. Not the BJ part but the best friend thing. I consider my wife my very bestest friend in the world but that's a little different than having a good chum that you can hang out with and just be buds.
