As therapists love to ask, how does that make you feel?

He really is adorable. I actually wouldn't have ever found out about Asperger's Syndrome if it wasn't for L. I was browsing for info on him and stumbled across a site that was pointing out how L seemed to have some symptoms of Asperger's Syndrome, and as I read about the symptoms I was like "huh, this sounds a lot like me"

You couldn't tell by the emoticon how she felt?

*I* wish *I* had found out about this 30+ years ago. I would probably feel just like that emoticon. Today it is like.... Well, MAYBE my old acquaintances will realize I WASN'T making things up or overreacting. On the other hand, now they may reanalyze things and see things even I hadn't considered then. But I can certainly relate to that emoticon.
