We've got a "let's hear you speak" thread. Now, let's hear some impressions! Famous people, characters, fake accents, animal noises, funny noises, anything!

((I should post on this in the near future but do not have time right now.))

I love scaring everyone with my Michael Howard impression. :skull:

(In case you didn't know, Michael Howard is the leader of the UK Conservative Party)

He is old and slimey, and going to retire from leadership in October.

When nobody's listening I do my game show announcer voice. I can also do Cartman and Chef from South Park pretty well. I've tried my hand at impersonating James Earl Jones too.

OK, here I go. I'm going to MAKE THE FIRST IMPRESSIONS... audio post.

http://www.geocities.com/iiirosemadderi ... ssions.wav

In order, they are:

A cat

A pissed-off cat

A guinea pig

A chickadee (I'm too breathy for it to be any good but you can kinda tell what it's SUPPOSED to be)

A generic but better-sounding bird

And that, my friends, is the full extend of my talents in impressions, all there for you in less than a minute. ((Well, I can bark too, but I don't want to further disrtub my neighbord and/pr embarass myself.)) I cannot do impressions of human biengs.

An oldie but a goodie, I'm great at Darth Vader's breathing. I have his pace and tone down pat, even those little clicks at the start of his breaths. Can't do his voice though.

I haven't really tried my hand at imitating anyone famous, but I loved doing impressions of my friends in college!! One of them is well known in some circles now and it's funny when I say, want to hear my ......... impression??

Other impressions, well, i think I imitate cat sounds pretty well. Once my kittens were hiding under the bed and I meowed in questioning fashion and then sure enough, I heard a Meow! and they came out from hiding!! !

That's beyond an impression. That's communicating with another life form. ((But higher or lower?))

Here's the version I like best: "Dogs have owners. Cats have staff."

However, my cat kind of.... worships me. He either thinks he's a dog or he thinks he's my son or my significant other or something. This is not me being egotistical, either- it's annoying! You can only take so much fo being stared at with undying love with unblinking eyes before you want to hide!! !
