I got a call from the assistant manager at a McDonald's, near me, today informing me that I got the job, and I have orientation on Monday at 4 p.m..
(But, I feel the only reason I got the job was because my cousin's fiance is the assistant manager.)
I am pretty happy to have a job; I just hope I can survive it.

You're cousin's money is the assistant manager? I believe you mean fiance.
Good luck with that. If you're just taking care of stuff, it should be fairly easy to deal with. If you have to work the register... have someone tell me where and when to attend the funeral.

I appreciate the fix; I was typing a bit too fast. My cousin's fiance actually said that she will try her best not to put me on register, because I do not have the people skills.

you might have got the job because of who you knew, but you need to keep it on your own merits! Congratulations! You become a working slob like some of the rest of us!
