Mainstream guy-talk (politics, poker, cars, sports..) is really uninteresting to me, to the point where its painfull to listen to someome blab on about it. All I'm good at talking about is music, tv, comedy and technical stuff. Does anyone know where I might be able to find local compatible people? or should I just forget it?

Your post was titled Hmmmmmmm, and because of that I mistook you for Ghosthunter! :P

Local as in "in your physical area," or "accessible online so location is kind of irrelevant"? If the latter, I agree: this is a good place to start.

Except for the cars, I know the feeling. I'm one of the world's biggest sports non-fans and I don't even know nothing about politics (who's our president? Bush Something?). I limit my talk of poker to video poker since that's all I play.

Hmmmmm? I would say Welcome to WrongPlanet,
but that will wait! Hmmmm? You hit upon a
area that is very true to my reason I don't
connect very well with NT's.

I see them here in San Francisco, for example.
They drink(I don't), Touch-Talk-Express eye
contact(I am limited in those departments!).

The reason is just exactly why you stated it.
If it isn't deep, expressive, and nutrient based,
I find very little to say on it.

I have the same problem here when they discuss
movies, TV, Radio, Music. I am of technical mind
as I would suspect you are? Fascinating????????
Am I correct in my surmising this??????

I will ask a few questions!

1)...Are you ASD? AS? HFA? PDD-NOS?
and regardless, what traits do you exhibit?

2)...Hmmmm? What are your hobbies and
interests? This give me a guideline to how
you approach your thoughts and feelings.

3)...Where do you live, is it a constructive
or destructive envirement for you? Family
can either be one or the other, as well as
friends.

4)...My impression is your around 15-25.
I can make mistakes here but I ask anyway!

5)...What inspires you when you talk technical?

6)...What doesn't inspire you when you are
somewhere? Hmmmmm?

And....."Welcome to WrongPlanet"

Sincerely,
Ghosthunter

I will take this as a compliment? If not, Oh-Well!
nobody can please everybody. I still feel this wasn't
a negative, so I say thanks for compliment.

Sincerely,
Ghosthunter

Not a negative! Just an observation with a little playful ribbing. Glad you weren't offended. Now what say you pass the BBQ sauce?

BBQ sauce went as Ghosthunter reaches
for it and "The curse of being Ghosthunter"
strikes again, Bwhaaaaaaaa! Bwhaaaaaa!
a strange mystical voice laughs out loud
and rushes past the table as BBQ sauce
slooooowly trickles on the WHITE carpet.

Hmmmmmm? and a friendly Hi!
