I am planning to come along to this meet too. I don't knwo anybody though.

I'm a tall guy with round 1940s style glasses and red hair. I'll probably be wearing a tweed jacket.

If you see me wandering about looking confused, please say "Hi" :)

Don't worry if you are shy, I was anxious at the first meet up I attended. The meet ups are relaxed and friendly, no one should make you feel uncomfortable or unwelcome.

Yeah besides if someone in the group is making you feel unwelcome or uncomfortable just tell me. :twisted:
Though really people have been mostly friendly at the ones I've been to.

I kind of lost my nerve and fell at the last hurdle. I turned up but just couldn't summon the courage to come over and speak. :(

Hope you didn't see me and think I was being rude. I hope to see some of you at a future event.

I don't live in London, but can travel there, but I don't want to travel to London whilst the Olympics are on, for obvious reasons, and the security risks are just too much for me to even bother risking using any public transport there.
