Does anyone know when the film 'Mozart & the Whale' is due for release?

I have been watching the website and the last I heard it was due for release this Christmas but they are leaving it late if that is the plan.

I am begining to think it will never be released!

From what I read on a French movies website, the movie Mozart & The Whale should be out in theaters in the United-States this Christmas. No date is scheduled for France...

I first came across the official site back around May or June and it hasn't been updated since. I haven't seen any trailers, or heard anything more about it either, so I seriously doubt we'll see this before the end of the year. I don't think a release date found on a website should be taken with too much seriousness unless you know the site is reliable and has been recently updated. There are still sites out there that claim the movie stars Rachel Weisz  (she was replaced by Radha Mitchell).

Can't wait to see it though, I've never been this anxious to see a movie before. I'm sure we'll get it eventually, since the filmakers can only lose money by never releasing it.

I read December 12 on a site this afternoon but since the information is quite old, I do not know if it is still true.

This is getting ridiculous isn't it?
I don't understand what went on, and now I have heard the release date in Australia is October 21.
This is nearly a year since it was meant to come out.

Can't wait, though. I have a friend that wants to see it with me :)

I have been frothing at the mouth to see this freaking movie since last September, I think, and have had the trailer memorized for about that long.

I really should do more productive things with my time though.

Like memorize the entire "Who's on first" routine.
