Do you guys like to read books?

Sometimes. Right now and for several months, I've lacked the ability to focus on reading...it's like I read a page and then by the next page I realize I retained nothing from the previous page. Exercise in futility to even try these days.

When I do read though it's largely 'boring' books like someone's old text book from university, how to books, or something related to the history of my town or something like that. Now and then an actual story catches my attention and I'll read fictional things. I don't seem to have a particular genre I favor more than others, though I got hooked on magical realism for a bit a few years back.
