My interest is architecture, and as such, I'll spend many hours perusing floor plans (in books or often in those apartment-hunting guides), measuring rooms and features and translating them to graph paper, or (most often), building in the Sims (I've not decided if switching to that from drawing is a good or bad thing). I'm apt to do this for all of the day and night, of course.
Whether or not I remember to eat or sleep . . . and even if I'm not ready to stop . . . I'll find myself feeling physically ill (dry-mouthed, slightly nauseated, tense or shaking, etc.) Usually I come out of it far twitchier and spastic as well.
I'm wondering if this is some sort of overstimulation? Does anyone else experience this, and if so, how do you cope with it?
