I am just going to spew these out, for what they may be worth:
#1: It is unethical, immoral, and should be criminalized that the media can and do spout predictions of election outcomes WHILE VOTING IS STILL GOING ON. There should be not only the no canvassing within X feet of the polls, but blackout on election news until the morning after. Do we have to turn it into the Oscar's plus an Idol show?
#2: It is unethical, immoral and plain stupid that parties and interest groups and people buy into the "principle", DO NOT support a candidtate, however qualified, unless you are SURE he can win. This is a sure recipe for pushing advertisable fluff - human Twinkies - instead of potential leaders.
Thing is, a leader - a real human being - might not be as amenable to being moved by the guys with the video game controllers.
That is it. Them is them.
