While I feel the author's political agenda has not really helped her seem impartial when discussing HFA in the article, there are lot of ignorant and venomous comments underneath disparaging autism and aspergers underneath, what do you think about these?

Everyone has an opinion, and sometimes they are ignorant.

If I let this sort of thing get to me, I would be a very, very angry person by now. Fortunately I have a very short atten.... ooh, shiny!

The comments are disgusting.
One of them referred to Autism as a "chronic illness".

I don't like those comments, at all. I do not have an illness. I'm socially handicapped. I'd rather be this way, than not given a chance at life, at all. Autism is not an illness, and whoever says that, is not worth my time. Even my mother, who thinks that everybody should be like her.
