Facetiously, I am asking, What if parakeets with high-tech weaponry tried to take over the world and turn all humans into millet farmers? What would you do?

Killer Keets topic

You could change your name, Ben. Then they would spare you. IAMaparakeet.

We could always hope for a drought/flood. Crop failure.

I would say what a silly person you are coming up with a silly notion like that. Parakeets do not have enough brain tissue to produce technology.

Cower in fear.

Ever seen those things? Small, highly maneuverable. Try and catch one?

Give them weapons and we're screwed.

Screwed? Is that worse than homosexuality? I doubt the Bible forbids sex with parakeets.

Parakeets don't live very long, so I imagine the regime would change after they all died in six to twelve years.
I like parakeets but they always break my heart :(

It wouldn't be much than how people are today: if you keep on saying something enough, they'll start repeating it.

"Iran is a threat, raaaaaaar.'

Edit: I know I just did a parrot but a parakeet also mimicks and "*shrill tweet*" doesn't sound as good.

The only way to stop them would be robotic Pirates with bags full of crackers.
